Additionally, students returning to the College for Spring Semester (from withdrawal, study-away, etc.) may not move into their Spring Semester room until 8 am on the day before Spring Semester classes begin. These students who are found in College residences before this move-in day & time without approval from OSL will be fined $150 per day or portion thereof and may be reported to the Dean’s Office for disciplinary action.

  • As part of a pilot program, all student residences will remain open for Spring Break for all students. This pilot program began with Spring Break 2019 and will continue with Spring Break 2020. Students who remain on campus are expected to pick up a Spring Break Door Card from OSL (they will be available starting February 20), fill it out, and attach it to the outside of their room door for the duration of the break.

Many campus services are reduced or not available during Spring Break, including Health Services (medical & IWS), athletic facilities, dining, and others. Campus construction work may be increased, including earlier & later hours. Some residences will close for up to 24 hours during the break for life safety system testing, resulting in temporary student relocations. More information for spring break 2020 will come out in February & March of 2020.
